HiiGuy Camera Strap Review

The HiiGuy company sent me this strap for my honest review. I really do like the strap, and after trying it, I am pleased with it! I have it as a backup in my kit in case I need it.

HiiGuy Camera Strap Pros

The camera strap is durable. I’m not really worried about it failing.

The strap has a quick release clip which is super helpful!

The HiiGuy Camera Strap is reasonably priced for what you get. I am comparing it to the Peak Design Slide strap which I LOVE! However, the HiiGuy one is much cheaper.

HiiGuy Camera Strap Cons

The padding of the HiiGuy Camera Strap always feels like it’s in the way and moving all around. After an 8 hour wedding, I was so frustrated with the padding I wanted to pull my hair out.

Maybe this is just me, but I NEVER use pockets on the camera strap. I don’t find them reliable or useful in any way what so ever. For this reason, the fact that this one has one is a big con!

The sliding clip that allows you to bring the camera up to your face moves the strap all around which throws off the padding as well. I know, I know, this is not going to be perfect, but it seemed more than normal for this strap.

Overall Thoughts About the HiiGuy Camera Strap

This strap, for the money, is excellent. I trust it, it’s a quick release, and it’s a pretty cheap investment. That being said, did it beat out the Peak Design Slide?? NO! The HiiGuy camera strap is a backup strap in my kit for now.
