As a Minnesota Engagement Photographer, I get a chance to visit many cities across the state. Below is one of my latest engagement photo sessions.
Erika and Elliott were an awesome couple to work with, their love and connection was amazing to see and to photograph!
As an engagement photographer I love that these two are so excited and just so connected. There are some nerves throughout any photo session, but Erika and Elliott both forgot I was there taking photos. We went to Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis, MN on January 6, 2019. Boy was it cold but so much fun!
I really enjoy introducing natural movement and flow into the engagement photos. Having these two walk, spin, hug, and really just have fun and being silly. This really provides a space where they can forget they are getting their picture taken and creates really nice candid moments.
“What do I do with my arms?”
This is a comment I hear all the time and I absolutely love it. This means you are human! I mean, I am a photographer and when I am getting MY picture take I don’t know what to do with my arms! But in between all the movement and fun, I give direction and want to make sure you are looking your best. Engagement photography is all about you and your partner and that is my goal to show the love you have with each other.
Erika and Elliott are getting married this year in July and I am so excited to have taken their engagement photos and to be taking their wedding photos. It was great getting to know them and I am PUMPED for their wedding!
